USAID/Zrda aims to support the development of the tourism sector by growing and strengthening existing food businesses in the project’s target geographic area!
Under the Grant Program aimed at fostering tourism sector development by supporting growth and empowerment of the existing restaurant businesses within the project target geographical areas, USAID/Zrda has provided the selected beneficiary – bar “Megobari” – in Zugdidi with the requested equipment and items!
The free space “Megobar” is popular among local and foreigner youth. “Megobar” hosts various trainings, exhibitions, fairs, working meetings during daytime and accommodates movie nights, live musical events, and corporate parties in the evenings. “Megobari” provides catering service and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks for such events.
Under the grant program, USAID/Zrda provided the beneficiary bar with a generator, an icemaker, a POS terminal, accounting software, background music system. The new equipment will enable “Megobari” to provide better service to their customers and Zugdidi visitors.
